About DirectQRKit

A small, independent workshop for usable direct QR codes.

DirectQRKit is an independently operated browser utility for making static QR artwork. It is built for the person printing a sign, packing an order, sharing a contact or preparing a sheet of labels.

Direct means direct

A website QR contains the destination you enter. DirectQRKit does not insert its own redirect, charge to keep the code active or require an account. The code itself has no expiry; a linked website, Wi-Fi password or event can still change.

A workshop, with useful checks

Choose from 19 payload types, adjust a code’s appearance, create a CSV batch or prepare a physical print layout. The tool checks supported image exports with an independent decoder. That is a useful check, not a guarantee for every camera, material or lighting condition.

The encoder and decoder are mature open-source libraries. Our standards library records the methods, sources and known limits. License notices identify the bundled components and fonts.

Free tools. Your artwork.

The core tools are free. Downloads have no mandatory DirectQRKit watermark. Print templates offer an optional credit that starts off. The workshop photographs are original generated concept images with real example codes overlaid; they are not customer testimonials.
